DRAMATICS (7th & 8th Grade)
Students continue to develop specific skills that allow them to study and create characters for the stage. They begin to understand proper use of voice and diction. This course includes an overview of theatre history and theatre in culture. Other activities include Improvisation, playwriting, shadow and large scale puppetry, theatre design, and play production.
ADVANCED DRAMATICS (8th Grade)
Eighth grade students refine acting, directing, playwriting, and production skills developed in previous theatre training. Students will produce polished and complex projects for an audience. Additional acting methods are introduced and developed. Students will participate in after-school performance events in the fall and spring semesters.
